Hello, i did a canopy ( zip lines) in Mindo, it was wonderfull, the place name is Mindo Canopy Adventures, check their web www.mindocanopy.com I did 13 lines ( 3,5 km.). This canopy was the first in Mindo and the best. You can feel an see the safety and enjoy the jouney.

Mindo is a great place in Ecuador. It's north from Quito and very touristy, but more local people. In all travel guides i have read, there were nothing written about it. But it's really nice there. It's a bit like Baños, but smaller. You can do there a lot of different activities like Rafting, Tubbing, Hiking, Biking, Motocrossing,... Mindo is also famous for Bird- and Butterflywatching. But the best thing about Mindo is the Canopy Area. There are 10 ropes and it least you about 1 hour to make all. It's great and it's worth it!
