If one goes past in Otavalo, absolutely on the fact it respects that one comes on Saturday. On this day the city transforms in a only one enormous market, on which one finds almost everything from Artesania to alive animals… ; -)

I went here twice in my 3 months in Ecuador, couldnt help myself! So much to buy - prepare to be laden down with numerous bags and a very light wallet!

Vibrant culture, great shopping, lots of friendly locals. Good place to practise friendly haggling.
