I have enjoyed shopping at Egyptian Craft Center, also the headquarters of Fair Trade Egypt. May el Sadek is my contact there; she is Egyptian post BA of the University of North Carolina. Very helpful in terms of my research of women's artistic heritage and traditional crafts in Egypt. The prices here are very fair especially if you in Egypt for a short time and being fair trade, shopping helps mainly women who create the crafts at home or at local NGOs throughout Egypt. Fair Trade Egypt buys regularly and pays the women up front for gorgeous embroidered story wall hangings, woven scarves, pottery, hand made paper, clothing and jewelry. There are more items too numerous to list.

A fairly large two room store with a few smaller side rooms. Lots of selection, some travel books as well.
