A felucca ride on the Nile is a memorable way to enjoy a sunset. I experienced this in Luxor and was swept away by the beauty and the calm of the river. Cold beverages, a good boat and captain, only added to the pleasant event. Good journeys!

Gorgeous photo ops at sunrise and sunset. Take a felucca ride, but dress warmly in winter, it's very cold on the water, especially at night. Don't touch or drink the water, it's polluted and disgusting, but beautiful to look at.

The Nile is the heart of Egypt and everything is happening on the water or just next to it. So if your not on a cruiseship already rent a boat and spent an evening watching the world going by on the water.

Great thing to do on the Nile: rent one of the little boats called "felouks". Some of them can even bring you from Luxor to Aswan. It takes a day and a half to do that, and it is amazing.

A cruise in the Nile is wonderful and extremely relaxing. You enjoy the beautiful sceneries, the sunset and the palm trees. You'll be taken to the mysterious world of Pharaohs and see the grand ruins.
