It isn't as busy as Naama Bay and you are less likely to get pestered although one or two of the shop keepers may have a quick chat with you which can of cause lead to you ending up in their shop and cashing out on various products. Back in Feburary during the time of the great Egyptian uprising the square became the venue of a spectacular party which thanked the British for not deserting Egypt in the same way that the Russians and other countries had.
