Nov 12, 2011 The eight-hundred-year-old Tallinn is a fantastic place to visit for everyone. Coming with kids you can explore the Rocca al Mare area, which host the Tallinn Zoo and the Estonian Open Air Museum. If you are a museum fan you should consider buying a Tallinn Card, which will give you free entrance to most of the city's museums. The Pierre Chocolaterie is one of the best place in Tallinn if you love hot chocolate and traditional cakes. For a good lunch or dinner I recomand the Klafira, Olde Hansa or Vapiano. Jan 17, 2009 The old town in Tallinn is as beautiful as any I have seen in Europe. It is a little bit smaller than other small old towns, so it is quite easy to get around. My one big travel tip would be to avoid using taxi's. If you must, look for the Yellow Taxi's which seem to be official and dont rip you off like all the others. Havent experienced the nightlife, but from what i here, it is up there with some other bigger cities in Europe. Enjoy!! Jul 6, 2009 Tallin's Old Town is so beautiful with its church, small restaurants, marketplace, coffee shops.. There is lots of alleys covered with cobble's and you'll find there salesman offering woolly clothes and stuff. But remember to be carefull, if your walking alone, also thiefs are on their way. Apr 3, 2013 Amazing place where you will meet with sense of medieval! Visit Pirita beach, museum under open air, zoo, old city! From Tallinn it is very comfortable to come to Finland, Latvia, Lietuva and Russia. If you have opportunity to come, it is better to come in summer!Good luck! May 23, 2010 I took the ferry over to Tallinn from Helsinki for a day trip and loved the charm and cobblestone streets of the old town. I allotted about 5 hours here so I could see the various points of interest and grab lunch. Related Links
