Very nice place to the West from Kärdla. It is a place, where historically some swedes were travelling to Ukraine. They were banished by Russian empress Catherine II. Winter was cold and a lot of them died. They started to leave crosses, made from sticks, branches and everything lying around.
Now it is told, that if you make a cross without harming nature, you'll deserve luck. It was actually very very difficult to make a cross. Because literally everything around are crosses. If you find a stick lying on the ground, it will be definetely a part of cross.
