The new hydroelectric plant diverts most of the water, leaving just a trickle over the falls now. We were lucky that one of the generators was offline so there was a good amount of water. Still you can tell the falls used to be much bigger.

Sadly, they've been reduced to only a third of their past glory by a dam. Still worth a visit though!
