Nananu-I-Ra means daydream island. And it is. I spent the happiest 3 1/2 in my life over there! I often think back on the time over there. The island had a backpacker back then. Not many people knew about this paradise. There was everything: a sunset mountain where we watched the sunset every evening, a dive shop and the best reefs around this island, an empty back beach where you could be naked because almost nobody came there and wild horses where I secretly took one and did secret rides at sunrise down the hill along the empty back beach into the ancient magic jungle.... Does this sound like paradise?! Yes it was... The water was so clear, I never found a better place after... But it shut down I heard... they wanted to built time sharing houses and destroy so the unique beauty of it... but Nananu you will be always in my dreams!!! I miss you!
