a fantastic experience, and a must see if you are visiting helsinki. take a boat to the island and wander through ruins that vary from all different stages in time. see dry docks where shis were built/repaired in the second world war, a factory where aircraft parts were manufactured, look at cannons that were mounted on the walls to defend against the russians, see walls that were built hundreds of years ago to defend the island!!! suomenlina is a catacomb of delights, that will keep you wandering and exloring for hours, the only thing i dont remember is how my information was provided in english, so if you cannot speak finnish i recommend researching the island a little before you go so you know what you are seeing!! a must see fr helsinki!!!
