Description:
Medieval castle dating back to the 13th century. Contrary to most castles of that epoch, this castle is still whole, and allows a perfect view of the typical dwellings of the time.
Getting there:

One of my favorite castles. It was abandoned during the french revolution, and is now privately owned. It is, contrary to most medieval castles, still whole, and the current owner has renovated it in style, being a big fan of the medieval era. This castle had different owners which were in part quite well-known. Amongst them Catherine de Medicis. Of particular interest are the internal gardens and the main fireplace, which is quite typical, according to the owner, but one of the only two remaining ones of that particular style in France.
