Jan 19, 2009 It was easy to see where Monet found his inspiration for his paintings. The grounds and gardens were BEAUTIFUL! I did go in May when all the flowers and trees were in bloom. It was a little crowded but visiting when everything was in bloom and the weather nice made navigating the crowds well worth it. The house was interesting but it is the grounds/gardens that are so impressive (at least in the spring). Dec 7, 2008 The garden around Monet's house is a spectacular painting. It's a feast of intermingled colors that are designed in an artistic way. There's also the water garden, where you can see lilies going out of the still water. Monet's painting (copies) are displayed in the house. Besides, you can see Monet's belongings. Jun 21, 2009 beautiful reconstructed garden of monet's paintings. water lilies are in exact location they are in the water lily panals. monet was also obsessed with japanese art. inside his house the walls are covered from top to bottom with samauri artwork. there is even a bamboo garden, the beautiful green bridges and benches.
