Bâteaux Mouches
About Bâteaux Mouches
The Bâteaux Mouches Company, located at Alma Square, on the Seine right bank, offers boat rides on the Seine river; it allows the discovery, days and evenings, of famous Parisian monuments such as Eiffel tower, Alexander III Bridge, Orsay and Louvre Museums, Paris city hall, cathedral Notre Dame de Paris …
Bâteaux Mouches first appeared in 1867, for the Universal Exhibition, when a contest for the construction of boats able to transport merchandise on the Seine was organized. A builder from la Mouche quarter in Lyon won the contest. About 30 boats were built then. After WWII, when roads and railways supplanted water for transportation, the Bâteaux Mouches Company was created to offer touristic rides on the Seine River. Payment Accepted:

May 29, 2008 Love the Bateaux Mouche, a sort of ferry which acts as a tour guide, and the helpers explain all about France in different languages, like French (duh!), Italian, Spanish and English, etc. Like it mostly because the Seine and the Tour Eiffel are so beautiful at night. We also get to shout a lot and wave at people on the bridges! ;) Sep 16, 2010 An ideal way to see the "headlights" of Paris. You take a boat at the river bank and during the trip you can see all sorts of monuments. If you take the trip in the evening than you have a light show as well. During the trip you get all the information in your own language. Sep 14, 2010 Gostei... faria de novo ,mas só com tempo sobrando...sinceramente tem passeios bem melhores.Mas é um clássico .Tem q ir!
