The broadest, most prestigious and famous avenue in Paris, is a 2 km long promenade that links Place de la Concorde to Arc de Triomphe. It is a portion of the part of “Historical Axis”. Greenery borders each side of the avenue with luxury specialty shops, cinemas, cafés with patios and restaurants at its western end. Grand and Petit Palais are located near Place de la Concorde and its Obelisk. It is the most expensive strip of real estate in Europe. Its character is changing with the arrival of global chain stores.

Transport: Metro or RER – Charles De Gaulle Etoile – 1, 2 or RER A Paris ’s most famous and therefore most touristed Street. High end shopping, with French and other famous designers lining the boardwalks. I nice place for a coffee, but not that you will pay more to sit out on the street.

I went to Paris for my first ever holidays....I spend 1 month there, at that time i had a french girlfriend! Everyday we walk atleast 6 hours around Paris and visiting everything around...museums, cathedrals, cafe, bar (everything in sight). At night we used to go to a gay club (Queens) on the champ Elysee, A very popular club with all the celebrities and the most beautiful girls in France are there!! The local Ice Cream house "Bertillon" makes the best ice creams in the world.... Paris is a place to discover with a huge history.....

When you come to Paris, you can visit the Eiffel Tower, it's very high and cool to visit, but the queue is sometimes very long. You also can visit "Le Louvre", where there is the famous "La Joconde" (Mona Lisa), a painting paint by Léonard de Vinci.
If you go to Paris, you can also go to Versailles for visit the Versailles' castle.
Excuse me for the English's mistakes, I am French.

The elegance, busyness, sheer helter skelter reality of the Champs Elisees is breathtaking. It doesn't matter how many times you walk it there is something new to see and experience each time. I tend to find myself being dragged off the main thoroughfare into the side streets and quirky boutiques of Paris. Just to sit in a cafe and sip a coffee and watch the world go by is one of the most pleasant experiences you can have in this beautiful city.

You just have to love Paris! It is such a special and romantic, arty, interesting, vibrant, great place! And the Champs-Elysée is the best place to start you Paris adventure. For nice restaurants once again try not to eat near the Eiffel Tower or on the Champs-Elysée for it much better elsewhere and cheaper to!! Don't miss the Sacre Coeur it's a stunning place with an amazing view over Paris
