Go very early to get in line. Give your self a full day. So much to see. Use the map and tick off what sessions you have found. See the major things first. You might need to weave your way to the front to see some paintings as large groups don't care about single people just standing about.
Amazing day though!

This is an excellent museum with many floors dedicated to interior design from the 19th century to present. In the same building and included in the ticket price is the Musée de la Mode et Textile (Fashion Museum) and Musée de la Publicité (Advertising). There is also an excellent audio guide.
