Apr 8, 2012 I lived there for 4 months. In my opinion, it is the most charming Parisian neighbourhood. Surrounded by cosy cafés, restaurants and pubs. For those interested in culture and art, I recommend you take a walk around Marais and you'll find lots of bookstores and antique shops. Also art galleries where you can find all kinds of expositions. In the heart of Marais is situated the Place des Vosges (Vosges square) a agreeable place for a picnic in the Spring or just to read a book. If you go to Paris don't miss it! Apr 5, 2012 I actually don't understand the big deal about Paris - it's really dirty, expensive and traffic is horrible. On the other hand - if you want to spend New Year's Eve a little different, Paris is an experience. We went there a few years back and it was fun. There are different locations like Mont Martre/Sacre Coeur (it was awfully cold and windy, everybody went inside the church and came out shortly before midnight), Eiffel Tower or Arc d'Triumph. May 21, 2012 A great place to hang out with friends or family or both. The diversity in art, culture and fashion pretty much sums up why Paris is an internationally renown city. If you have nothing to do on your last day in Paris, visit this place. It is totally worth it. Related Links
