Getting there:
From city center, you can take the bus line 5/25 and get of on the Pont de Verdun stop. Then you need to follow Rue du Fort that climbs to St.Quentin hill. It's the zig-zag road behind the university residents.

Our hiking started with a empty car road that climbs the hill with zig-zags. Then we entered a dirt road. There, we found a high ground allows to see all the city and part of fortifactions. We continue and crossed a field which contains old military fox holes. Then finally we arrived the deserted military base whose walls covered with graffiti.
