The tallest cathedral in France, dedicated to our lady, a roman catholic cathedral and a UNESCO world heritage site, construction was commenced in 1220, but the original structure was much damaged by fire. The cathedral also houses the reputed head of John the baptist, a relic taken during the fourth crusade. A first class example of gothic architecture and a must see for anyone in the Picardy region of France.
