Nice return to the roman times on teh Old Remparts of Antibes. A walk in the narrow street where doors and windows are animated with colourful plants and flowers of all types will give you a break from the noisy big cities.
My advice: do avoid July and August!!! The flow of tourists make it awful. On the contrary June and September are warm and much cosier!

I could have given this place six or even seven stars.Don't go in July and August(all the locals have there vacation )We traveled in September with the managers of the Prima hotels from Israel.A bus with guide took us to all the places on the riviera and this one was special.Does Piccaso say anything to you ?

Klein, aber fein. Sieht alles hübsch aus, echtes Provence-Meer-Feeling! Mit Hafen, Gässchen, besonders schön, bei Sonnenschein. Nicht sehr gross allerdings und man kann den Ausflug sehr gut mit einem Abstecher nach Juan-les-pins verbinden. Oder man fährt gleich nach Nizza.

the old city of Antibes. surrounded by the big old wall of the ancient fortress, it includes nice cafés, restaurants, bars and a shitload of souvenir-shops. nice view over the harbour, the beach and the city from above the wall

Narrow, hilly streets, unique shops, great crepes, all within walking distance of each other. Great view of the Mediterranean Sea along the sea wall.
