Getting there:
about 1km from cassis stretching along the coast to towards Marseille

Jul 23, 2008 Stretching between Cassis and Marseille is a beautiful coastline comprised of limestone cliffs dropping down into turquoise water. There are lots of caves, inlets and forested trials to check out. This is a great place for an active holiday. Cassis is small, quiet and expensive compared with Marseille which is cheaper and more vibrant with a bit of an edge. Camping between the two is a good option. Whatever you do don't miss out on the freshly landed seafood. Aug 12, 2010 Beautiful coastline with rocky beaches and surrounded by National Park. Very clear water - good for diving. Dreamy smell of the pine trees and rattle of cykads. Underwater caves. Few types of starfish. A lot of light - perfect for underwater photography - a snigle use underwater cameras available in Geant for good startup :) Jan 12, 2009 Calangues in Marseille are white cliffs that rise up from the Mediterranean Sea and are spread along 20 km. You can go hiking there and enjoy the spectacular view of the blue sea and the green vegetation that grows out of the rocks. You should take care of the wind. Jun 17, 2010 superbe paysage, calanque de sormiou, longue marche pour y accéder mais au moins on mérite ensuite la beauté du lieu, le turquoise de l'eau. Le petit port de Cassis est également très sympa à fréquenter en soirée
