If you want a nice holiday with a lot of variations then this might be something for you. You have the Lake of Serre Poncon, that is a huge lake that supplies a big part of France with electricity. On and around the lake are several things to do, like boating, sailing, just tanning, walking,... The lake is surrounded by the French Alps so if you like hiking there are options enough. You can go see the marmots in the mountains, you can hike all the way to Italy trough the old smugglers path... A little bit of training before you try that is recommended because some walks are realy difficult. But one you are at the top of a mountain then it is all worth of it, because of the breathtaking landscapes... In the winter there are a lot of ski resorts. So like you can see there is plenty to do for everyone.
