Apr 12, 2009 Eze-Village is a really cool village, perched high above the Mediterranean for safety from pirates. The train station is at Eze-sur-mer with the Village high above it. It is pretty, but also pretty touristy. Beware some of the snack carts, the food may be microwaved. You can have a good time walking around the winding lanes. If you get there by train to Eze, it's easiest to take a cab up to the Village. If you don't want to pay for a cab down, it is a long walk cross country down to the train station, but it is doable with good shoes. Last time I was there it was a dirt path most of the way. Aug 12, 2010 One of the more interesting stops on the coast - may even end up being the favourite over Cannes, Nice or Monte Carlo. Easily accessible by train and then bus. Coffee shop across from the train station a great place for a coffee while waiting for the bus. Definitely not to miss. May 27, 2009 Don't miss easy to reach tourist atraction!! On the top of the old fort, there is a garden where you can get the panaromic view. Entry fee to that view point cost 5€ but it worths. In the garden, you can also find a little waterfall to refresh yourself. Sep 17, 2009 The most beautiful stone town I have ever been to. It was like walking around a fairy tale!! You can walk around the city in a day... if you stay there though the cost of a hotel is exorbent! Jul 25, 2009 A nice French village with a nice view on the way to Monte Carlo...
