Feb 24, 2011 The old part of Nice is known as Vieux Nice or La vielle Ville. Its narrow streets are full of all kinds of shops, restaurants, bars, cafes and historic chapels. These narow streets lead to a colourful square known as Cour Saleya. In the mornning it is bustling with a colourful Provence market with fresh produce from the province. There is also a flower market and on Monday an antiques market. One can find many restaurants and bars here. In Summer it is crowded with tourists and locals enjoying street entertainment of all kinds. A place full of character not to be missed!!! Jan 14, 2009 At the old side of Nice you will find a amazing place. A pleasant place with little and narrow streets (just for walking) like a labirynt surrounded by stores with local products, bars and restaurants in well preseved buildings, during day and night. You will also find historical constructions. Sep 14, 2009 wish i would have spent more time too! I almost only have seen it during the night and it's a shame because it's supposed to be so beautiful under daylight because of all the buildings' colors. Related Links
