Very difficult to sunbathe here. I was sunbathing actually in Nice one day, took my towel and was ready for a day, "on the beach", to get there and find the beach was made up of ROCKS!! Talk about PAIN. These were not tiny rocks--they were BOULDERS. It was very horrible. I ended up with the sunburn of my LIFE!!--and then to sleep in a youth hostel with scary strangers in a bed with sheets that seemed to be made of cling free dryer sheets---wow--good times :) If only to be young again and take a 6 week backpacking tour through Europe!

An extremely nice SANDY beach where you would least expect it. It is situated in a boggy area, far from any major route. The place is small, the hotels very reasonable. The food is good as well. If you are after better prices for the same quality, better choose Italy, however.

Very nice beach with little parking spots. No good restaurants though around. They are unfriendly and unprofessional. The reason is simple: so many tourists; who cares if people come twice or not.
