A magnificient Castle build in 1434 and restaured in 1889 by an architect of  Paris Exposition Universelle. It provides insights into the history and culture of  the Savoie region. Added attractions included a spetacular forest and a vineyard where "un grand vin blanc: le Ripaille" is produced.

Go to Plage Municipale de Thonon, along the shore of Lake Leman. The chateau limits touch the beach (Plage)

If your like old stones, enjoy hiking in a forest and tasting (white) wine, this is a perfect half day activity for everyone.
