Bagrati Cathedral is an 11th century cathedral church perched atop the Uk'imerioni Hill.  The cathedral is now in ruins, but is still considered a masterpiece of Georgian medieval architecture.  the Bagrati Cathedral, combined with the Gelati Monastery are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
