Look at it and hike up. There is a truck path to reach it, somewhere on it's right side (north when looking from town), but it is nicer to walk across on the smaller paths.

The Sameba church is located high up on a mountain overlooking Kazbegi and Mt. Kazbek. You can hike (1-2hr) up or drive. We hired the 4x4 driver to take us up to Sameba church and then to the Russian/Georgia border. There is a castle ruin near the border (Tamar's castle) but not really worth seeing.

Sameba is a small church, visible from anywhere around Kazbegi when looking towards Mt. Kazbek. The hike to the church is superb and the views from the top are just superb.
