Nice place to take a walk and have a beautiful view of the city, the castle and the Old Bridge.
It´s called Philosophenweg because it is told that long time ago the proffessors of the University walked through this way teaching their students.

The philosophers walk is a romantic little hike. We went in Autumn and the hills were the colors of fall. Heidelberg offers a fantastic view. The castle, bridges on the river and town itself are all charming.

Best viewpoint on the historic city of Heidelberg! It is a bit of a walk up there, but totally worth it!
