My aunt took me to visit an annual flower show at Lake Konstanz... the show is just one species of flower (which eludes me now) but it has many colours and varieties. Each plot was about 6 ft by 6ft and each plot was planted with the variety of the flower. The wander around the park was a riot of colour and there was also hedges cut in the shape of a rabbit and other animals. Like everything in this area everything is picture postcard perfect... amazing what a ton of money can do along with German efficiency.

Well it's plain awesome. A cool lake in the alpine foothills with an amazing panorama in the warm autumn days (or all other clear days). Some people say it's too often too foggy but even then it has a certain beauty. It's great for all water sports or just taking nice walks.

The lake of Konstanz is really a cool place to swim, or just to rest. Lying down in a bark is enough to enjoy the calm nearabouts.
