I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Wilhelma, It was a warm summer afternoon and it added to the Charm. Beautifully maintained and very clean with a huge collection of flora and fauna. If you are in Stuttgart and if you have time to spare you must visit this zoo.

A large zoo with beautifully landscaped grounds.  We spent a long time at the wonderful outdoor polar bear exhibit, where you are separated from the bears by only a wall of plexiglass.  We spent a long time here.  Enjoyable for both adults and children.

Clean, with large environments for the animals, so not bad for a zoo...  And, there were the mating polar bears who were pretty entertaining.
