The oldest church in Munich . There are photos of WW2 bomb damage on the pillars of the church. The tombstones on the wall are a reminder that cemeteries used to be adjacent to the church. Those wanting an awesome view of Munich city only need to climb the 322 steps to the top of the Bell Tower for only € 1.50. Open Monday to Friday 0900 – 1830 and Saturday and Sunday 1000 – 1830.

The best place to see Munich old town from bird-eye view perspective. It is situated right by Marienplatz, so it gives quite a good view of city hall. Don't miss it.

best view over the city from the city center. At good days you can see the Alps. And it's only 1€ to get up.
