What can you say about the busiest airport in Europe? Airplanes land and/or take off every 8 seconds, announcements are made in German, English and the language of the flight's destinations... you can see airlines you'll never see in other airports and it can take you even 1 hour to walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate...

A own little city in the form of an airport ;)
Very large, sometimes very long distances and not always unambiguous signage ... every now and then a little confusing.

For me, it's quite a nice place as I can fly to almost everywhere from there.. ;) it's the biggest airport in Germany.. don't know what's left to say

Gateway to Germany. I can navigate this airport with ease. I don't feel lost or out of place. Frankfort reminds me a lot of New York City.
