Jun 20, 2008 The Japanese Quarter in Düsseldorf is like a little bit of Tokyo in Germany. Düsseldorf itself has the biggest population of japanese people in Germany. They have japanese shops, everything is imported from Japan. I always enjoy buying japanese sweets or original suhsi. On the other side they have japanese bookstores, with a lot of manga, merchandise and japanese games. One time in the year ther is nippon day. A lot of japanese, and european, people meet at the Rhine to celebrate a japanese party, with original music, food, kimonos....etc. The restaurants are the best japanese restaurants in germany and on nippon day you have to wait in line to have lunch i one of them. There is really much to discover in little Tokyo in Düsseldorf.
