The building itself is really impressive. The old church has been excavated and now you can walk over the archaeological site. The excavated buildings date back to Roman times. Really impressive. The museum itself tries to "initiate a dialogue between art and religion". They do this by juxtaposing modern art and old religious artefacts. I think it comes over a bit forced from time to time but there are some really nice pieces. The excavation is not in open air but the walls in this part of the museum have holes (modern architecture he) so if it's cold take your coat inside.
