worth to see. there were all the gods who lived on the mount Olympus. Originally a temple for all pagan gods. It was converted into a church in 609. One of the best-preserved example of monumental Roman architecture. It was enormously influential on European and American architects from the Renaissance. It was renowned for its spirituality. Is also highly acclaimed as an architectural marvel.

It makes you feel awe. The history tell us, that the only women who can visit it were female ministers. People used to go by foot, and offer there animals or foods. It been used, also, as shelter in time of war. To build it, the ancient Greek used funds for war. But without fail, it can make you feel that you travel in time, in the ancient Greek time.

I went to Athens right after touring Rome and when comparing the two Rome def. has more history that is still standing. It was a let down to know that they rebuilt most of the buildings such as the Pantheon in Athens, I wish I could have seen it in its original state. Nevertheless the city is very interesting and contains tons of history

Not much remain, but yet still impressive! Nice to experience something that have been in this world since THAT long:) And on the other hand extraordinary sun and heat... and a sweet olive tree still growing out there!:)

Well I espected more from Athens to be honest. Nice squares, Pantheon ofc but city like city isnt so nice. To many small buildings streched and its like big vilage or something.
