Oh well it was built by St.John after the Crusades...It's one of the most beautiful sites ever...It's full of shops,clubs and restaurants...The most amazing thing is that even though it;s really old people still live there...Be careful there are many narrow-roads so you might get lost if you don't pay attention... =)

Its one of my favorite little towns in Greece. Many of the people live in apartments built into the Knight's road and untill the tourist season the town is rather sleepy. Unfortunately, the Islamic history of Rhodes is shunned and the mosques have fallen into disrepair.
