One of the most beautiful and scenic archaeological sites in Greece, but if you expect high columns of white marble soaring to the sky you may be disappointed. The ruins are situated on the basis of a promontory, which can be walked around through fragrant pinewood but the walk is quite long and parts of the path lead on exposed cliff so if you suffer from vertigo better keep to the woods! The views on ancient quarries are gorgeous, though.
