Nice ruin of a palace built on top of a hill with a great view over the surrounding areas. Most of it is gone and sometimes you need a bit of imagination but the Lion's gate and the graves are still there and very impressingly so. Not easy to reach with public transport but if you have your own wheels it is definatly worth the visit.

The ruins of Mykene are impressive indeed. But good footwear is recommended, and also bring much water with you. The nearer you get to Mykene, the higher the price of water bottles. And at least when visiting in summer, you will definitely need a lot of water!
