An Ionian beach scooped out of a vertical wall of white limestone rock, this isolated beach even features the rusted hulk of a smuggling vessel from pirate raid that went wrong. Shipwreck beach is known as one of the best beaches in the world.

The beach can only be reached by boat from one of the ports in Zakynthos, Porto Vromi from the south or the Harbour of Saint Nikolas in Volimes in the North East.

the most amazing place we visited in Greece because of the colour of the water. Unfortunatelly there was huge wave so we had problems with getting there by dinghy. It is possible to get inside the shipwreck. I fully recommend this place to anyone who is sailing near this place.

It´s the place of Zakinthos... nothing just an old ship lying on the white sand... and a great but so much cold light blue sea... a dream!

Very beautiful sight from the balcony on the right side of the beach.
