About Rupununi savannah
Situated in the southwestern portion of Guyana on between the Brazilian border and the Rupununi River, the Rupununi savannah is a large region covering about 15,000 square kilometres. The landscape is dotted with termite mounds, creeks, and Amerindian villages and cattle ranches.
