The highest summit on Kahoolawe. There is a rain ko`a on the peak -- a traditional Hawaiian stone structure built to attract rainfall from neighboring Maui.

With my Western skepticism, I was amazed to see the rain ko`a actually work -- a gathering rainstorm on Maui was seen to extend slowly in a line toward Moa Ula. From the summit, you can see Maui and Lanai. On the hike up, one can also stop and see the bell stone -- a boulder which in ancient times was rung like a bell to send messages long distance.
