ok, i know this one is a bit touristy, but heck thats why you go to hawaii. the aloha tower has been remodeled and currently serves as the port of call for the island of oahu. many cruiseliners start and end their inter island cruise here at the aloha tower. beautiful sights to be seen from the marketplace. deep blue ocean water, and theres a couple of good places to eat drink and wat we call in the islands places to talk story. one place worthy of mentioning at the aloha tower marketplace is makinno chaya, an all you can eat japanese buffet, ranging from different types of traditional and local sushi to miso soup, and wen i say from sushi to soup i mean all the nuts and bolts inbetween. check it out and if your in on a friday or weekend during the summer you just may see the magnificent cruise ships docked at port waiting to sail. aloha no!!!!

The place was really quiet with not very much to do. It could be because we were there in the afternoon on a weekday and there were no cruise ships at the dock.

It is a tourest stop but has great history and beautyful views.
