Rome is really impressive city with it's history and architecture. Trully, to see everything what Rome has inside takes quite long time. Somehow, in one week, I managed to see just the most popular travel destinations like Colosseum, Villa Borghese, San Pietro, Pantheon, Vittorio Emanuelle monument, in fact just a historic centre of Rome. But even to see this is a great lesson of history and roman architecture.

Surely you have to enter the Basilica s. Pietro, it is the most important church of all. But take some time, sit on the stairs under the colonnade and just look and enjoy. Enjoy the view of the basilica or that famous window from which Popes give their blessings... S. Peter's square is wonderful place - if you're Catholic, you'll feel at home; if you're not, you'll feel welcome!
