First opened in October 1957, Victoria Park is a public park that was named after Queen Victoria.  With a surface area of over 19 hectares, Victoria Park is the largest park in Hong Kong Island.  It is a popular place for local joggers, and also features tennis courts, football fields and a swimming pool.

Victoria Park is one of the largest Urban Parks, and its the gethering for many rallies and events such as lantern festival. It's also a nice place to stroll. I have to admit a soft spot for the park as I spent my earliest years in a condo next to the park. :)
