Silver Mine Bay Beach is the main beach on the shores of Mui Wo.  The beach is named after the silver mines that were built nearby.  It is one of the cleanest beaches in Hong Kong, and due to its location, relatively uncrowded.  It is possible to rent bikes or fly kites by the beach.
