Hong Kong Disneyland opened on 12 September 2005. It is the fifth Disney's Magic Kingdom-themed park in the world and the second in Asia. The theme park consists of four theme lands, they are Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and Adventureland. Although the park is the smallest Disneyland in the world, the park is renowned for organising special events during festivals such as Halloween, Christmas and Chinese New Year. Exclusive festive entertainment and attractions are available only at Hong Kong Disneyland, especially walk-through haunted houses during Halloween and Disney-styled Chinese New Year parades.

Though smaller than other Disneland's, place is good for 2 days fun and getting a break. Was there during christmas so enjoyed Christmas Parade and massive fireworks. Vegetarians will have a hard time in finding right food. Do not miss Studio Lounge restaurant at Hollywood Hotel, their food is amazing. For guests staying at the hotel do not expect much of room service , but otherwise hotel is nice. Buffet is large enough and serves all asian cousines. One can take free shuttle from hotel to the park. Service every 10 mins. Let me know should you wnt to know anyting else!!

A great, small park.  If you ahve small kids I highly suggest it.  Keep in mind the season  Monsoons and typhoons can hit the area.  We missed a typhoon by about 5 days.   The accommodations were great and I highly suggest going to the park on a week day.  You'll be able to get on every ride.  The food, is a western/eastern fusion so no one will starve.   The Disneyland Hotel is a little more upscale than the Hollywood, but bother were great.  Breakfast with the cast was a magical time.

This place is meant for family entertainment. However, this is a captive market since you may not bring in your own food and drink.

Better buy your water in there instead of drinking in the water fountains since your stomach will still have to adjust to the tap water in Hong Kong.
