The most famous retaurant in Iceland, occupying the revolving top of 'The Pearl', is notoriously expensive, but there's plenty else to do here. Below the main restaurant is a small shop and café where you can get some of the best ice-cream in Reykjavik. Also check out the small viking museum on the ground floor, and have a look at the 'fake geysir' on the hills outside.

Perlan is high on a hill overlooking the city. It's actually a series of tanks holding the hot water for the town, but has been cleverly designed to include a restaurant and the Saga Museum.

Here you get probably the best view over the city and surrounding areas. This is a must visit if you're in Reykjavík, should be able get some good photos from there.

You just can't miss it while you are in Reykjavik. Great architecture, perfert view. It's realllllllly fancy restaurant, nice coffe place and museum also.

A good place to go and watch the surroundings on the top of the building (360 degrees) plus museum of Icelandic History + there is a reastaurant there.
