This is a monument for the legacy of the vikings and first settlers to the South-West corner of Iceland. And I do agree with Kate P. the horizon, with the landmark mountain Esja in front is especially beautiful - the sunrise and particularly the sunset is a breath-taking view when the harbour is calm.

Cute little statue on the waterfront in Reykjavik. Looks awesome at sunrise and when the harbour is calm.
