Situated within the Ladakh region of Northwest India, the Stok Kangri is the highest mountain within the Stok Range, at an elevation of 6,137 metres (20,135 feet).  It is situated within the Hemis National Park, and is a popular trekking mountain as it is considered non-technical.

The other side of Baltistan and K2 of Pakistan, I was there last year August 2007, on Baltoro, while doing the K2 base camp trek.
