summer in shimla is nice as this place addressed as 'a place for retreat from the heat'. set foot on shimla whenever summer hit new delhi [unbearable at that moment, i got 40degree celcius!] and heading up north to state of himachal pradesh.
in lakkar bazaar, downtown shimla [from direction scandal point] people gather to celebrate summer festival. lots of fresh fruits, souvenirs and dances performances by himachali and ladakhi people.
